Training Professionals
Start your journey to becoming a Carbon Literacy Trainer.
Our next Training Professionals programme will be running in May & June 2026. Find our more and book your place here.
These open courses bring together Carbon Literate folks from different organisations and sectors, supporting them to gain the skills and confidence to deliver Carbon Literacy training.
Our Training Professionals course gives you the knowledge, confidence and skills to become a Carbon Literacy Facilitator (CLF). Following the course you will need to get real-life CL practice required to apply for Carbon Literacy Facilitator accreditation. You can then progress to Carbon Literacy Trainer (CLT). This route it the ideal way to roll out your organisation’s Carbon Literacy training internally at scale and pace.
This course is right for you if you are planning to deliver Carbon Literacy training on a freelance basis or as part of your role at work. If you are part of a large organisation, or an organisation that wants to train several people at once, please get in touch to discuss a ‘closed’ Training Professionals programme for your organisation.

Carbon Literacy for Town & Parish Councils
Using the Carbon Literacy Project’s Town & Parish Councils toolkit, out accredited Carbon Literacy Trainers deliver this learning over two half-day sessions, online via Zoom.
Speak Carbon runs open Carbon Literacy course for Town and Parish Councils several times a year. Our next course will run on the 25th of June and the 2nd of July. Find out more and book your place.

Carbon Literacy for the Sports Sector
Speak Carbon’s John Sutton runs ‘Carbon Literacy for the Sports Sector’ courses for those working in the sports sector and looking to decarbonise.
These courses are open to anyone in the sports sector, anywhere in the world. This includes sports clubs (amateur and professional), equipment manufacturers, events organisers, governing bodies etc.
