September’s Pledge of the Month is from law firm Addleshaw Goddard.
We love establishing long-term relationships with our clients, and we’ve been working with the majority of our existing organisations for years.
There is something really special though, about beginning a new project with a new firm. I wrote a Carbon Literacy course for Addleshaw Goddard in spring this year, and Pete delivered their first cohort in July.
This pledge stood out to me as it shows the power of doing this sort of training. An organisation can have processes in place to support emissions reduction, but unless the urgency of the climate crisis is kept top of mind, it can prove hard to prioritise these above the other day-to-day needs of the business.
Enabling colleagues to spend a whole day together talking and thinking about the climate crisis, gives them the agency to reprioritise the issues and ensure decision-making is always pro-transition.
We’re so pleased to be able to add Addleshaw Goddard to the list of global law firms with whom we’ve worked, and we can’t wait to go with them on their Carbon Literacy journey.
